| Final total |
- Single 1 = 100
- Single 5 = 50
- Three 1s = 1,000
- Three of a kind = 100 × face (2s = 200 … 6s = 600)
- Four of a kind = 1,000
- Five of a kind = 2,000
- Six of a kind = 3,000
- Straight 1–6 = 1,500
- Three pairs = 1,500
- No scoring dice = Farkle, turn scores 0
Farkle needs nothing but six dice and something to write on, and the writing part is where games fall apart: who is at 4,350, who still needs 500 to get on the board, and did we agree that three pairs count? This sheet answers all three.
What is on the sheet
- Six player columns and 22 turn rows, enough for a full game to 10,000 at a normal pace.
- A final total row for the last round after someone passes 10,000.
- The scoring chart printed under the table: single 1s and 5s, three of a kind, four to six of a kind, straights and three pairs.
How to keep score
- Each player writes their running total in their column after every turn. Writing totals instead of turn scores saves adding up at the end.
- A Farkle turn gets a dash (or a 0): the total does not change.
- When someone passes 10,000, mark that row. Everyone else takes one more turn, then write the final totals.
House rules to settle before you start
- Entry score: 500 points in one turn before you can start writing (common), or no entry rule.
- Three Farkles in a row: lose 1,000 points, or nothing.
- Hot dice: when all six dice score, you may roll all six again. Most groups play this.
- Three pairs and straights: 1,500 each is common; some tables use 750 or 1,000.
Printing tips
- Print at 100 % so the rows stay tall enough for quick handwriting.
- One sheet covers one game for up to six players. Print two for a tournament evening.
Frequently asked questions
How many points do you play Farkle to?
The usual target is 10,000 points. When a player passes 10,000, every other player gets one more turn, and the highest total wins. Some groups play to 5,000 for a shorter game.
How many points do you need to get on the board?
Many groups require 500 points in a single turn before a player can start recording scores. It is a house rule, not a universal one, so agree on it before the first roll.
What does a Farkle score?
Zero. If a roll has no scoring dice (no 1s, no 5s, no three of a kind or other combination), the turn ends and the points collected during that turn are lost. Some tables also deduct 1,000 after three Farkles in a row.
Why does the scoring chart say 'common'?
Farkle has no single official rulebook. Single 1 = 100 and single 5 = 50 are universal; four, five and six of a kind, straights and three pairs vary between groups. Use the chart as a default and change it if your table plays differently.
Is there a US Letter version?
Yes, there is a PDF for A4 and one for US Letter, each with the full table on one page.
