Research
Every guide starts from primary sources: rulebooks published by the game's maker, rules from national or international federations, and long-established references such as Pagat.com. Each guide lists its sources at the end.
Writing
We write for someone who has never played the game. We explain the standard rules first, use short steps and examples, and explain terms the first time we use them. Popular house rules and regional variants appear in their own section so they are never confused with the standard rules.
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and translation. Every guide is then checked against the listed sources and edited by Adem Caba before it is published. Pages in Spanish, German, French and Portuguese are written for readers in those languages, using local game names and variants.
Accuracy and corrections
If a rule is disputed or differs between sources, we say so. When readers report a mistake, we check it against the sources and fix the page; the "last updated" date shows when a guide last changed.
Advertising
Rulanza shows advertising to pay for the site. Ads are always clearly separated from the content, and advertisers have no say in what we write.
